Bath Abbey Pews on Itv
From Itv: Bath Abbey is holding a church court to decide the future of its Victorian pews. The Abbey argues that the church was built as a big empty space and the building will be made more flexible and improve access for all. However, The Victorian Society believes their removal would have an extremely detrimental effect.
"The small benefits of removing these historic pews in no way justifies the substantial harm it would cause this highly significant historical building."
